Organizations helping crime victims in Horry, Georgetown counties awarded grants

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WMBF) – South Carolina’s top prosecutor announced the awarding of grants to help victims of crimes in the state’s Lowcountry.

Attorney General Alan Wilson held a news conference in North Charleston Thursday to announce the allocation of these grants for organizations that work with victims of crimes.

In Horry County, eight grants totaling over $1.3 million were given to organizations.
