Would you recognize a child in trouble? Do you know the warning signs of abuse? In just two hours, you can learn to recognize child abuse, how to report it, and help protect our children.

We know that when adults are trained, they take the steps to protect children from sexual abuse.

During the award-winning Stewards of Children® program, you’ll meet survivors who lived through child sexual abuse, experienced its immediate and long-term effects, and ultimately were able to find healing. You’ll meet experts who work with children and families and confront abuse on a daily basis. And you’ll find concrete steps that you can take to protect the children in your life.

This is an interactive child abuse prevention training featuring real people and real stories. Every person who works with children or has a child they love in their life will benefit from the information presented here. The Children’s Recovery Center has trained facilitators for this program. Stewards of Children runs for 2 and a half hours. The workbooks included in this program are only $10 each. We encourage you to sign up your agency and join us as we strive to protect all of the children in our community.

Educational Workshops

Representatives from the Children’s Advocacy Center are always available to complete educational workshops with your team. We can customize the workshop to the time and topics you most want to discuss. We are available to travel throughout Horry and Georgetown Counties.
